The Tuskeegee Airmen

I love this photograph of the Tuskeegee Airmen. It reminds me of the determination, grit and courage of these men who fought under incredible odds to defend our country during World War II. They left an incredible legacy and I can’t wait until my son is old enough to learn more about these  inspiring men.  I am grateful to them and the many men and women who served in all of our wars and whose sacrifices (along with their families) we remember today, Memorial Day.
